Return and Exchange Policy

PAWsitively Sweet Bakery offers quality products and wants you and your furriend to be satisfied with every product purchased.

Food Products

We guarantee every food item for freshness. Other than freshness issues, all food items are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged.

Apparel and Other Non-Food Items

We happily accept returns on new, unworn, unwashed, unopened, or defective merchandise. Returns and exchanges are accepted on non-food merchandise only within 30 days of receipt.

  • Items that have not been worn, used, washed, and/or altered.
  • Items must be returned with original packaging and tags.
  • Packaged goods (original manufacturer box) must be returned unopened and in brand new, resalable condition. If damaged or if item has been removed from original box, a fee will apply.
  • If there is dog hair, smell, stains on items, and any other sign of use, items may not be returned.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Personalized, special order, beds, carriers, food/treats, grooming, seasonal, and sale items final sale.

We reserve the right to refuse a return if the above requirements are not met or if items are returned beyond the 30 days. A restocking fee will apply. Refund amounts less than $50 are eligible for store credit only.

20% restocking charge will be applied to returned items that meet the requirements listed above.

Customer is responsible for shipping costs for exchange shipment. Purchases made with promotional discount applied may only be exchanged for the exact same item originally purchased.

Please note that if you received free shipping on the original order and there is a return on any of the items, we will issue refund for the items returned, less $10 for shipping. For example: original order $100, return item priced at $40, we will issue a refund for total amount of $22.00 (returned item for $40, minus $8 (20% restocking less); minus $10 (shipping cost).

 

DEFECTIVE OR WRONG ITEM SHIPPED

We will gladly exchange defective merchandise.  You must notify us withing 48 hours of delivery.  At our discretion, you may be responsible for the cost of the return shipment to us.

GIFT CARDS & GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift Cards & Gift Certificates cannot be exchanged or returned for cash, credit or check. Items returned with gift card or gift certificate purchase are good for store credit only. Gift Cards are available for purchase in store only.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETURN

Please email your request to bark@pawsweetbakery.com with the following:

• Order Number

• List of item(s)

• Specify if it is a return or exchange with details

We will respond to your request within 3 business days of request.  Do not mail merchandise until you have received a response. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged return shipments. We strongly encourage you to purchase insurance for the package.

REFUNDS & PROCESSING TIME

Returns and exchanges are completed within 2 weeks of receiving your package. In most cases, your return/exchange will be processed faster. You will receive a email notification with the details of your refund, and we issue refunds in the form of payment used to make your purchase. For exchanges, we will email you the exchange details including the amount due or refunded, and a tracking number.

"AS IS" & FINAL SALE ITEMS

Final sale items include: clearance, custom made, personalized items, sale or discounted price merchandise, seasonal holiday items. These items are not refundable and all sales are final. Due to health regulations, all pet food, treats, chews and food perishables, pet dining feeders & bowls, grooming or spa care, pet beds, pet carriers, sanitary items, and plush toys are non-refundable and are also considered final sale.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS  & CHANGES
If you wish to cancel part or your entire order after your credit card has been processed and the order has been processed but not shipped, you may be charged a 5% fee based on the total order. Any changes to your order will incur a 10% processing fee based on the total order amount.
